June Highlights/All About Aubree

I have been so horrible at taking pictures!  We have had such a great summer so far, but I don't really have much to show for it.  So here is what we have been up to in June:
-We have been in our new place for about a month and love it!  Our neighborhood and ward are amazing.  I couldn't ask for better.  We have met a lot of people and have lots of playdates and really feel so welcomed.  So welcomed, in fact, that our first week of church I was asked to give the lesson in Relief Society the next week... Um, thank you?  It went ok, and I've taught RS before, but not knowing anyone and living in Utah County where everyone (in my opinion) are gospel scholars, was so intimidating!  I survived and people are still talking to me so that's a good sign :)  Anyways, SO happy to be here!
-We have had a lot of visitors and enjoyed every minute!  We had Ricky and Kels one weekend, Juli the next week, along with visits from the Losee family, and my family the next weekend.  No pictures at all.. lame.  But we loved having everyone here, it was so fun!
-Matt has been working a ton this summer and I am so appreciative of him.  He works ridiculous hours with crap pay.. another quirk of Utah County... but he has worked enough that we will survive haha.  It's paid off though- he got offered a position working with the mechanics at Larry Miller and working a regular 40 hour week with better pay!  Once school starts, he can count work as his lab courses and can keep his regular work and school schedule.  Man, we have been so blessed.  Even though Matt's worked a lot, we still have been able to include him in our summer activities!
-We've been to 7 Peaks a bunch of times and love it.  Aubree has a ball!  Maybe one of these days I'll take my freakin camera!
-Enjoying lots of family, new friends, BBQ's, staying up late, watching Cinderella III a bajillion times (yep, there are 2 more Cinderella movies), going to parks, swimming and enjoying our simple and awesome summer!

{Lots of baths after playing outside all day}

{Mom's swimsuit.. it looks better on her right now anyways..}

{We went to City Creek when my fam came up- it was my dad's birthday..
Happy Birthday my wonderful dad!!!
The Losee fam met us there and the kids played for awhile.  City Creek is the bomb!}

{Potty training... 3rd times the charm right?  Don't ever ask me for
help with potty training by the way... I apparently don't know what I'm doing
if I have to say 3rd times the charm}

{Watching Cinderella with Dad}

So I don't forget, here are a few things about Aubree lately:
-She makes up songs all the time.  Her latest is about the moon and church.  They go a little something like this.. "The moons so bright, in the night!" and "We go to church and takenin the sacrament and nursery and the holy spirit."  Oh my it's so cute!
-She copies everything Matt does.  If he is wiping off the car, she grabs a rag and helps him.  If he's fixing his bike, she gets a screwdriver and pretends to use it.  They brush their teeth together, play Xbox together.. it's so fun to watch and Matt loves having a little shadow.
-She has gotten so much better at playing with other kids and her cousins.  I guess I've threatened her life enough times :)
-Potty training is still ongoing, but she has done awesome.  With having so much family around, it was really hard to keep her from getting distracted, but she still did great.  We had a little hiatus for a couple weeks and just got back into it and she's done really well.  Please bless this continues!
-She still loves her dress ups, loves playing with her babies and feeding them, has a blast playing with the neighborhood kids, and just enjoys life.
-She wants to see my stomach all the time now.  She lifts up my shirt and says "I want to see Mama's big belly."  Thank you Aubree.
-Her latest sayings are "For the love!" and "Shut up."  Mother of the year, right?  We all know where she got "for the love" from, but I have to explain the "shut up" words... I was on the phone with my friend Ashlye and she told me about someone we know passing away.  I said, "Oh shut up... that is horrible."  Aubree heard me and now we are done for.  I guess I need to talk like a grown up and not a 15 year old around my kid.
-We are enjoying Aubree so much-- We love you little girl!!

McCall's Graduation

My little sister graduated from Snow Canyon last week!  She had such a great graduating class; they accomplished a lot that year and were all very close.  After the ceremony, we went down to take pictures but couldn't find her.  One of her best friends found us and said she was walking around bawling and hugging everyone.  Haha- I was dying.  Far cry from what my brother and I felt when we graduated!  I'm so glad she ended her high school years on such a positive note.  She has darling friends and they all have a great future ahead of them.  Congrats McCally!!

All About Aubree

Oh this girl... she is so much fun and such a spitfire.  I feel like I have a teenager, not a 2 year old!  Here are some things about Aubree lately:

-We tried potty training and that was a total bust.  She was so patient the entire day with me nagging her and and putting her on the potty-- but she was not getting it.  She would sit on her potty for 2 hours while we played, stand up, and go right on the floor!  ALL DAY.  Not fun.  The next day I asked her if she wanted to go on her potty and she just started bawling.  I felt so bad.. so basically we will try again when we are both ready haha.
-She is so social!  She goes up to people in the store and hugs them and loves when we see people we know.  She especially loves Matt's friends.  Van and Danny are still talked about at our house.
-She was having a really hard time understanding that we don't hit or push kids, but she has seemed to be a lot better.  It still happens, but not every 5 seconds.  I read a great book about this issue and it helped a lot... I just need to stick with what they tell parents to do in that situation!  When we were in St. George she was pretty hard on her cousins (and I appreciate my sister in laws for being so nice about it!) so we will keep trying to teach her.
-We bought her a new swimming suit and she loves it.  She asks every day if we can go swimming- luckily 7 Peaks opened this weekend so we will be there all the time this summer.  We are so excited!
-She is a great talker.  I love having conversations with her.
-I sometimes wonder about her blood sugar... I have a 2 minute window when she is hungry and if I don't feed her within that time, it's all over.  I could just be paranoid but it really is that bad.  Once we get food in her she is great, so who knows.  We'll have to talk to her Dr. and see.
-She loves wearing my shoes and Matt's shoes.
-We talk about her being a big sister all the time and play with her babies to practice.  I knew before I got pregnant she will have a hard time adjusting, but we will try our best.  I think she will enjoy having her around but not enjoy me giving a lot of attention to someone else besides her.
-She loves the Temple.  She wants to drive by it all the time.

Lately...

I've been trying to do my blog book with no success.  I have been talking with Blogger and Blurb for over a YEAR and we can't figure out why my blog won't transfer.  So... I'm bugged.  The whole reason I started this blog was for a scrapbook for cryin out loud!!  Anyways, I am doing Shutterfly and it's actually been kind of fun and not hard at all, especially since I already have everything documented on my blog to just copy and paste over.  From here on out, my posts won't be as big of a deal, but I'll still post for fun and to keep documenting.  Still kind of bugged though... but I digress.

Anyways, we have been great!  We're moving to Orem in a few days which I'm thrilled about.  We found a bigger place within our budget and it has everything we were looking for-- including a tub without creatures forming in it!  I will miss our ward but other than that... Peace out, Provo.

My pregnancy is going really well and I'm at 26 weeks already!  Other than a few minor things that were "possibly but probably not wrong," it's all been great, and baby girl is looking perfectly fine.  I feel her move all the time which I love!  My back and hamstring have been really bugging me; I pulled my hamstring almost completely off when I was on Rebelettes and it's affected me ever since, especially while I'm pregnant.  But other than that, I feel good.  I wasn't that great at documenting with Aubree's pregnancy and have been even worse with this one!  I don't really take pictures of me while pregnant.. not my thing really I guess, but I hope I can document a little bit here and there just so I don't feel guilty haha.

Our little family is doing great and we have lots of fun things planned over the summer before this little one arrives.  Going to spend tons of time at 7 Peaks, BBQ's at our new house, playing with visitors and enjoying the amazing weather!

Supercross

Matt's friend from work had some extra tickets to Supercross up at the U so we jumped on the opportunity.  A few Valentine's days ago, we went to Monster Jam (because I'm the best wife ever) and talked about trying to go to a Supercross race.  So, Matt was pretty stoked to go this year and it was a lot of fun!  Parking was a disaster and we had to walk at least a mile around the campus to the race and back which was fun for my pregnant self and the kid on crutches who was with us, but other than that it was really cool!  Thanks to the Zander's for watching Aubree-- they said she didn't ask for us once-- she loves them and I'm so glad we have awesome friends to help us have a date night!

{We had great seats right behind the starting line.. and we got a good view of the skanky
cute Motorcross girls holding signs up for the riders}

Gymnastics!

We signed Aubree up for a tumbling class through the city and she LOVED it!
She talked every day about "mnastics."
Matt was able to come to her last day and she was so excited
to show him all her tricks that she learned.
We loved her teacher and had a blast with the kids.
I love that she is old enough to really enjoy these activities!
Good Job Aubree Grace!!

Ellie's Wedding

Aubree and I stayed the whole week after Easter to help out with the wedding and it turned out beautifully!  The weather wasn't on our side for her outdoor wedding, so we ended up doing it at the church and it was so pretty.  Finally the day came and it was perfect!  Ian and Ellie were freaking adorable and the ceremony was wonderful.  I didn't take any pictures (why do I take so many pictures one time and then none the next?  No rhyme or reason just dumb!)  Luckily our families took pics so I stole these from Kelsey's blog (Thanks :) ) and hopefully we can get some from the photographer soon.  We had a great day and are so happy for Ian and Ell!!
